Guides for the RiskCurrent Android app. Most questions are answered right here.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. RiskCurrent has no sign-up or sign-in. Your watchlist and settings are stored on your device.
Install RiskCurrent and system requirements →What do the Global Stress Index stages mean?
The Global Stress Index runs from 0 to 100 and is divided into four stages: Low 0–33, Medium 34–59, High 60–79, Critical 80–100. Higher means more stress across the system.
Understanding the Global Stress Index →Why does a metric say unavailable?
No usable reading exists for it right now, usually because the provider hasn't published or returned data that didn't pass the app's checks. RiskCurrent doesn't invent a value to fill the gap.
When a metric shows unavailable →What do stale and last-known mean?
Stale means the reading is older than expected for that metric. Last-known means a fresh reading couldn't be retrieved, so the most recent successful value is shown with its age.
What reading states mean →How often does the app refresh?
When you open it (if the last update is more than 5 minutes old), every 10 minutes while it's open, and when you return after 5 minutes or more away. You can also tap the refresh icon at any time.
Find your way around the app →How many indicators can I watch?
Up to 5 on the Free version. RiskCurrent Pro has no limit.
Build your watchlist →Why aren't my notifications arriving?
Check that Android allows RiskCurrent to send notifications, that the alert type is switched on in Settings, and that battery optimization isn't holding the app back. Delivery isn't guaranteed.
Notifications aren't arriving →How do I restore or cancel RiskCurrent Pro?
To restore, open Settings, then Account & Plan, and tap Restore. To cancel, use Google Play: Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
RiskCurrent Pro and your subscription →Where is my data stored?
On your device. RiskCurrent has no user accounts, so your watchlist, settings, snapshots and alert history stay on your phone.
What RiskCurrent stores on your device →How do I delete my data?
Clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall the app. To ask us to delete data we hold, email [email protected].
Delete your data →Is RiskCurrent investment advice?
RiskCurrent is an informational monitoring tool and does not provide investment, legal, emergency, or professional financial advice.
