Understanding the Global Stress Index

What the 0–100 score measures and how its four stages are defined.

The Global Stress Index (GSI) combines RiskCurrent's scored metrics into one number from 0 to 100. Higher means more stress across the system.

The four stages

  • Low: 0–33
  • Medium: 34–59
  • High: 60–79
  • Critical: 80–100

Reading it well

  • The GSI is calculated on your device from the latest readings. The line under it on Overview shows how many readings are current, last-known or unavailable, so you can judge how complete the picture is.
  • Tap the Global Stress Index on Overview for its detail view.
  • Look at the weighted groups and Primary Drivers on Overview to see where pressure is coming from, not just how much there is.

For what each reading state means, see What reading states mean.
