Every reading in RiskCurrent carries a state that tells you how fresh it is. The app sets these states; here's what each one means.
- Current: The reading arrived within its expected refresh window. This is the normal state.
- Delayed: The reading arrived later than expected. It is still recent, but behind its usual cadence.
- Stale: The reading is older than expected for that metric. Treat it with more caution than a current one.
- Last-known: A fresh reading could not be retrieved, so the most recent successful value is shown instead, with its age.
- Unavailable: No usable reading is available. The source or the backend did not return data that met the app's checks.
No guessing
When no provider reading exists, RiskCurrent doesn't fill the gap with an estimate. The metric is shown as unavailable instead.
If a metric stays unavailable, see When a metric shows unavailable.
